Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC)

Founded in Milan in 1921 by Father Agostino Gemelli, with its 4 campuses of Milan, Brescia, Piacenza-Cremona and Rome, UCSC is the only Italian university operating on a national scale. It has 12 faculties, more than 40.000 students and 1.200 teaching staff members. Research activity draws on 39 departments and 87 research centres. Among these, CROSS (Research centre on vocational guidance and socio-professional development) promotes culture and practices of career counselling out the following activities: research on personal and social dimensions linked to professional identity; development of new models and tools on vocational guidance; training of career counsellors and teachers; counselling to students, parents, unemployed and workers; dissemination of knowledge through specialized publications.

Graduated in Law – with focus on international and European law – and lawyer. Pluriannual experience in management and monitoring of national and internationl no-profit projects led by Milan based NGOs. Operational Coordinator of the FAMI funded project “ESPoR – European Skills Portfolio for Refugees” led by UCSC. Expertise in the evaluation of University Third-Mission impact. Financial officer for national and transnational projects at UCSC.

Phd in Developmental Psychology. Senior researcher for European projects in migration and integration. Training coordinator and trainer for the FAMI project “ESPoR – European Skills Portfolio for Refugees”. Responsible for setting up the refujob website within the ESPoR project. Facilitator for migrants’ soft skills portfolio creation within the FAMI funded project “DimiCome”. Project manager for the no-profit Francesco Realmonte Association.

PhD and research fellow in Personal and Educational Sciences at UCSC. Member of the Research Unit on Theory of Mind. Adjunct professor for the Faculties of Education of the same universities in Brescia and Piacenza. Main research interests: financial education for elementary school and Theory of Mind in educational relationships.

Degree in pedagogical planning and human resources training, with subsequent highly specialized course in career counselling. Coordinator and tutor of thematic groups in education and training. Current student of the MEM (Media Education Manager) Postgraduate specialization course, which qualifies professionals capable of planning, managing and monitor/evaluate organizational and training processes related to digital and social media.

Instructional Designer at ILAB – Center for Innovation and Development of Educational and Technological Activities at Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Milan – she deals with digital online educational projects, including the MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) Project.

Hochschule der Bundesagentur für Arbeit (HdBA)

The HdBA, founded in 2006, is a university of applied labour studies, belonging to the German Federal Employment Agency. The HdBA has got two campus sites, one in Schwerin and one in Mannheim. It offers 550 places for BA and MA students per year. All of them are members of the public employment agency, most of them job beginners, but also colleagues with job experience who would like to widen their knowledge and to combine theory and practice. The courses offered by HdBA include economics, several social sciences, social and labour law. Special issues are career counseling, and vocational guidance. The academic staff of HdBA consists of about 100 university teachers, among them around 50 professors.

M.A. in English/French/EU & International Law University of Cologne, many years of experience in counseling, quality management, leadership, legal matters in Germany. She is an expert in EU-projects with a strong background in International and European Law, intercultural communication and process improvement. Veronica is fluent in English, French and German, Romanian is her native language.

Esmovia

Sistema Practices s.l. (from now on ESMOVIA) is a Spanish mobility provider located in Valencia and dedicated to the management of European mobility projects. Its team is specialized in providing traineeships and work placements for VET students and job shadowing for VET staff, school education staff and adult education staff. Moreover, it has a catalogue of structured courses addressed to school education staff, VET and adult education staff. ESMOVIA considers transnational mobility as one of the most important ways of getting new competences (knowledge, skills and attitudes) thus improving the participants’ personal development and employability on the European labour market. For this reason, its main objective is to offer quality programmes to allow participants to get the maximum benefit from the Spanish training and personal experience.

Responsible for coordinating the workflow and provision of all services for the entire duration of the mobility experience. Regularly participates to seminars organized by the E+ National Agencies and establishes and keeps the relations with international partners. 20 years working in Mobility, Training and Education: a hardworking person, committed with her company and staff.

Responsible of Innovation department. Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Spanish by James Madison University, Virginia (US). Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Leadership by EDEM, Polytechnic University of Valencia. Master’s degree in Coaching by Tony Robbins Master University. Trained strategist in organizational and one on one coaching with a licensed background in international relation studies, intercultural communication and team leadership.

The Institute for Research and Information on Volunteering (IRIV)

Created in 1997, IRIV is a free, private and no-profit institution with the aim to improve knowledge and practice within the non-profit sector on lifelong learning. First focused on volunteering (1997- 2003), over time it has enriched its field of research with migration and diversity with a portal launched in 2021. www.superdiversite.net. Through IRIV Conseil, it has been involved in 60 projects since 1997 in the field of lifelong learning programmes and since 2014 among the Erasmus+. The results of IRIV’s projects are published on the portal – www.iriv-publications.net gathering articles, research reports, guides, training mentoring, portfolios and 5 books. The portal – www.club-iriv.net presents its actions on the ground: among migrants at the Cité des Métiers and among youngsters in Essonne.

Doctor in Economics, funding President of IRIV and director of IRIV Conseil. In charge for the Ministry for Youth and Sports (1991-1994) and expert for the Council of Europe. Designer of several pioneer EU projects (eg. 2006 Helsinki awarded portfolio for the assessment of voluntary experiences; portfolio Migrapass to identify and assess migratory experiences; volunteering as a way to combat ESL) Author of several books and articles on volunteering, lifelong learning and education.

Yasmine Fellag

Graduate from a school of cinema Conservatoire Libre du Cinéma Français (CLCF), specialising in editing (montage). She’d like to make music videos and to create her own clips. She joined IRIV in February 2023 associated to the Think Diverse project! She was involved in the Festival of short movies (5th edition in Les Lilas, March 2023) and designed a video on the clichés and stereotypes on culture and religion. She is associated to the EMoCC for the editing of the videos to be designed by the iriv for the MOOC.

Tür an Tür (TaT)

The association Tür an Tür – living together and living e.V. (TaT) was founded in May 1992 in
order to give positive impetus in a difficult social situation. TaT wants to improve the living conditions and inclusion of refugees and migrants. The aim is to change the social climate and the legal framework. With concrete projects, TaT promotes integration and mutual understanding in an exemplary manner. The projects initiated at local, regional, national and international level focus on counselling, qualification and labour market integration of migrants and to support the commitment of volunteers. In the work and everyday interactions, TaT is guided by the vision of an “inclusive society”.
